The Chemist II role is onsite in Salem, NH. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Boston Analytical’s pharmaceutical product analysis and laboratory work. The chemist performs quantitative and qualitative testing, develops and applies analytical methods, and documents results in accordance with FDA, cGMP, company, client, and pharmacopeial requirements. The role also supports investigations, equipment readiness, and technical guidance for other chemists.

What you'll do

• Prepare and analyze pharmaceutical products
• use HPLC, GC, dissolution, AA, UV-Vis, wet chemical analysis, and method development
• generate and analyze data
• review deviations and participate in risk assessments and root-cause investigations
• maintain and calibrate systems
• handle hazardous waste properly
• document work
• follow safety and cGMP requirements
• mentor others in areas of expertise.
