What you'll do

• Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider.
• Assists with direct patient care.
• Serves as the clinical liaison between physician and patient and between physician and the office staff.
• Promotes communication among all care providers, patients, and office staff regarding the care plan.
• Takes patients to rooms.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Assists with medical procedures.
• Performs phlebotomy.
• Obtains lab specimens.
• Maintains electronic medical records (EMR).
• Administers medications & vaccinations.
