The Cook — Senior Living role is onsite in Mint Hill, NC. Pay is $12–$18 per hour. The cook joins Mint Hill Senior Living’s culinary team to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. The role prepares and serves meals according to menus, dietary requirements, and resident preferences while maintaining food safety and sanitation. It also supports kitchen operations through inventory assistance, collaboration with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff, and training support for new staff as needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, dietary requirements, and resident preferences
• serve meals on time with attention to quality, portions, and presentation
• maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• store and handle food supplies properly
• assist with inventory tracking and report shortages
• respond to special dietary requests
• collaborate with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff
• assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
