What you'll do

• Formal training and expertise in echocardiography required.
• Nuclear cardiology background a plus.
• Responsibilities will include reading echo (including TEE).
• Opportunity for Cardiac CT.
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient.
• Cardiology is primarily a consultant service.
• 24-hour Hospitalist coverage.
• Desirable Monday to Friday with 4/10-hour shifts schedule with 1:7 call once fully staffed.
• One designated outreach clinic location.
• Full APP support weekdays and weekends.
• APP is first on call during the week.
• Minimal call burden with essentially telephone call only after hours.
• Dedicated imaging days compromising of echos, nuc, CT.
• Dedicated TEE days.
• Clinic 12-16 patients daily.
• Opportunity for specialty clinics if interested, ie.
• Cardio-oncology, women's cardiology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
