What you'll do

• Support students throughout the school day and across school settings
• implement instruction, accommodations, and supports identified in IEPs under teacher direction
• reinforce academic, communication, social-emotional, behavioral, and functional skills
• use visual schedules and other directed strategies
• support communication and independence
• assist with transitions and daily living needs when required
• follow safety plans
• document progress data
• prepare classroom materials
• collaborate with the educational team
• maintain confidentiality.
