The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time, 2nd Shift role is onsite in Calabash, NC, supporting individuals in residential client homes. Compensation is $18.03 per hour, with a weekend shift differential and a $1,250 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Charles Lea Center supports people with disabilities in living full, independent lives. The role exists to provide practical, respectful support with daily living and community activities while promoting each person’s independence and dignity. The DSP also documents care, communicates with the team, and follows safety and agency policies.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily living skills, grooming, meals, personal care, and medication administration
• support activities, community outings, and skill-building
• document daily notes, training steps, and updates in Therap
• communicate important information to supervisors and team members
• follow safety, infection control, and agency policies.
