What you'll do

• Verify medical histories
• escort and interview patients
• measure and document vital signs
• prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians
• collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests
• draw blood, remove sutures, change dressings, set up EKGs, and administer injections and medications
• maintain records and confidentiality
• process referrals, schedule appointments, answer calls, and handle administrative documents.
