What you'll do
- Lead new and revised product development projects from customer purchase order through production launch
- coordinate design, material selection, tooling, process development, validation, and customer approval
- manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables
- communicate milestones
- partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and production on improvements
- troubleshoot molds, equipment, materials, and processes
- participate in design-for-manufacturing reviews and cost reduction
- analyze data and implement process improvements
- evaluate and implement equipment and technologies
- provide engineering support
- interpret drawings and specifications including GD&T
- assist with quality planning, validation, and engineering changes
- maintain documentation and quality-system compliance.
