Job overview

The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician role is onsite in Orlando, FL, with local travel to customer sites, and pays $30–$40 per hour based on experience. Compensation is stated as an hourly range. The technician supports commercial HVAC and refrigeration service work for Certified HVAC Inc. The role exists to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while supporting safe operations and customer satisfaction. Work includes preventive maintenance, equipment start-ups, electrical and refrigeration repairs, service documentation, and collaboration with other technicians.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• perform preventive maintenance, system modifications, overhauls, and start-ups
• service rooftop units, split and ventilation systems, chillers, refrigeration racks, walk-in coolers and freezers, and ice machines
• repair electrical components and pumps
• complete service documentation
• follow safety procedures
• participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime or weekends as needed.
