CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Orange, TX, with a Monday–Friday day shift of 10 hours per day. Pay starts at $25 per hour, DOE. The machinist supports a client’s extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology work. The role operates CNC machines and performs precision fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, parts, tools, and equipment. Accurate machining and adherence to safety and quality requirements support the client’s production goals.

What you'll do

• Read and interpret blueprints
• use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerances
• operate precision tools and machinery
• fabricate and shape metal, plastic, and composite parts
• select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials
• perform routine cleaning and light maintenance
• track parts and jobs in the ERP system
• follow quality policies
• operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
