Dietary Manager

What you'll do

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and supervise foodservice employees
• develop job descriptions and schedules
• create and monitor budgets and revenue-generating services
• plan food, supply, and equipment purchases using forecasts, waste, inventory, and equipment records
• collaborate with facility stakeholders and vendors
• specify food preparation standards
• participate in menu planning, including therapeutic diets and client preferences
• inspect meals for appearance, palatability, temperature, and timing
• manage special nourishments and supplemental feedings
• ensure preparation follows production schedules, menus, and standardized recipes.
