The Avionics Technician — Systems Integration role is onsite in Mountain View, CA. The base pay range is $45–$62 per hour. The technician supports LTA Research’s work to develop revolutionary airships by integrating avionics systems on research and development flight vehicles. The role installs, troubleshoots, tests, and documents aircraft electrical and avionics systems to ensure they meet engineering specifications and are ready for inspection. It also provides flight operational support as required, contributing to the safe and reliable development of the company’s research vehicles.

What you'll do

• Remove and install avionics electrical components
• fabricate and install wire harnesses
• perform terminations, ring-outs, and functional tests
• install and test systems to engineering specifications, drawings, and manuals
• troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems
• set up test equipment and conduct operational tests
• document aircraft work for inspection
• follow safety, foreign object debris, tool-control, and 6-S programs
• provide flight operational support as required.
