Diesel Technician

The Diesel Technician role is an onsite position based in Clarks Summit, PA, with a base pay rate of $26.00 to $28.00 per hour. This role supports the US Foods, Inc. fleet maintenance department by ensuring the safety and reliability of all fleet equipment. The role exists to perform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs on diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers. The technician contributes to the team by documenting repairs, assisting senior staff, and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with DOT standards.

What you'll do

• Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
• Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
• Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs.
• Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
