What you'll do

• Develop supplier relationships
• evaluate quotations and negotiate pricing, timelines, and terms
• select procurement methods and prepare purchase requisitions and bid requests
• issue letters of intent and confirm PPP
• analyze costs and develop reduction strategies
• assess business and supply-chain risks
• coordinate custom-designed items with engineering and vendors
• support trial orders and annual price reductions
• resolve supplier quality, delivery, and invoicing issues
• identify suppliers and monitor market trends
• attend trade shows and conferences.
