Occupational Safety Specialist

The specialist develops and deploys occupational safety standards and helps facilities interpret and apply those standards and applicable regulations. Through training, reviews, and enterprise-wide collaboration, the role strengthens safety understanding and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Serve as document owner and subject matter expert for assigned Global OE Standards and occupational safety regulations
• assist facilities with interpretation and compliance
• develop training modules, gap assessment tools, and guidance
• help resolve barriers and evaluate variance requests
• assist with system performance reviews and self-reviews
• mentor EHSS organizations on OSHA standards
• provide guidance and on-site training as necessary
• participate in relevant trade and regulatory associations
• facilitate the Safety and Health Best Practice Team.
