Group Leader — Before and After School Programs

The Group Leader role is onsite at school-age programs in Southern New Hampshire. Compensation is $15–$19 per hour. New Morning Schools provides before- and after-school childcare to families in Southern New Hampshire. The group leader helps children have a safe, supportive experience at the beginning or end of the school day. The role uses provided curriculum to support group and child-directed activities, positive behavior, communication with families, and day-to-day program operations.

What you'll do

• Plan daily activities using the provided curriculum book
• help maintain a safe environment
• encourage positive behavior
• greet parents and children
• help train new staff as needed
• attend monthly staff meetings
• follow daily assignments
• communicate with the office
• substitute at another location if needed.

Why this role

Applicants must be at least 17 and have 600+ hours of experience or 3+ EDU/ECE college credits. Programs operate Monday through Friday, 6:30–9:00 a.m. and/or 2:00–6:00 p.m.
