The assistant director supports the Director of Rehabilitation with therapy program operations, staff procedures, and regulatory compliance. Helping ensure consistent therapy practice, documentation, and billing supports quality services for facility patients and residents.

What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Rehabilitation with oversight and management of the therapy program
• follow regulatory requirements, company policies, HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and resident rights
• help establish facility-specific procedures with the interdisciplinary team and train therapy staff
• ensure therapists follow practice, documentation, billing, and productivity standards
• communicate respectfully with patients and families.

Why this role

Requires a degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology and an active PT, PTA, OT, OTA, or SLP credential in the state of practice. Experience with PDPM and MDS management is preferred; the title notes PTA preferred.
