The Associate Director of Clinical Operations role is onsite in Howell, MI, with a starting salary of $110,597.28–$127,167.33 per year, based on education and experience. Livingston County Community Mental Health provides public mental health services and works to support community wellness, recovery, and self-determination. Reporting to the Executive Director, this leader oversees clinical operations and coordinates consistent service delivery across programs. The role supports access, crisis response, compliance, quality, and financial sustainability through operational leadership, policy development, and collaboration with clinical, finance, and compliance teams.

What you'll do

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of clinical operations
• directly supervise Access/Intake, Emergency Services, Mobile Crisis, and Customer Service
• coordinate with Clinical Program Directors on practice and service delivery
• oversee service coding, documentation, and billing compliance with payer requirements
• lead clinical policies, procedures, and workflows
• support access, crisis response, service capacity, continuity of care, workforce planning, quality data, utilization management, grievances, and appeals
• represent the agency on regional committees and workgroups.
