The role coordinates inbound shipment files and delivery activity so shipments are documented, monitored, and dispatched in an orderly and timely manner. It supports customer procedures, operational performance, and compliance through accurate records and communication with management when issues arise.

What you'll do

• Create import files
• use the Transcon DDL workflow and tools to ensure shipment events are recorded
• request and update delivery appointments when needed
• update expected delivery dates for shipments without appointments
• dispatch shipments based on arrival and appointment details
• monitor GPS loads and trucks
• ensure paperwork, seals, and GPS units are assigned before pickup
• verify shipments are loaded on the correct trucks
• follow customer procedures and company policies
• escalate problems to management
• meet KPI standards
• complete 52 hours of training yearly
• attend branch meetings.

Why this role
