Senior Product Engineer

The Senior Product Engineer role is onsite at Tramec Sloan’s facility in Holland, MI, or Galion, OH; compensation is not specified. Tramec is seeking an engineer to lead product design, development, validation, launch, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. The role provides technical leadership for cross-functional engineering work, translating product needs into designs that can be manufactured, validated, and supported. It contributes to product launches and improvements through design work, engineering change processes, root-cause investigations, supplier and customer reviews, and collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Lead new product development from concept through production launch
• develop product designs using SolidWorks
• maintain CAD models, drawings, bills of material, routings, product masters, and engineering changes
• lead APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, PPAP, and design reviews
• evaluate manufacturability, cost, quality, reliability, and serviceability
• support tooling, suppliers, prototypes, and launches
• lead root-cause investigations
• analyze warranty and field data
• mentor engineers and technicians
• and support Lean and Kaizen initiatives. Travel 10–20% as required.
