Security Guard

Job overview

The Security Guard role is onsite in Jackson Center, OH. Base pay is $15.50 per hour, with double time every other Sunday. The schedule is 12-hour shifts from 6 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. on a rotating 3-2-2 pattern. The guard supports site security at Plastipak Packaging. The guard assists the security manager by patrolling the premises, checking facility access points, and monitoring employee and visitor entry and departure. These duties help deter intrusion and theft and maintain site safety.

What you'll do

• Assist with patrols to detect signs of intrusion
• check facility doors, windows, and gates
• monitor and authorize employee and visitor entry and departure
• contact applicable authorities in emergencies
• work 12-hour shifts on the rotating schedule.

Why this role
