Tool Room Mechanic II

The Tool Room Mechanic II role is onsite in Chelmsford, MA, with a listed first shift of 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Compensation is $30–$36 per hour, paid weekly and based on experience. Through mold assembly, inspection, cleaning, component replacement, and preventive maintenance, the technician helps sustain production operations.

What you'll do

• Disassemble and assemble hot- and cold-runner injection molds
• clean and inspect mold components
• support recovery of lost cavitation in production
• and replace worn or damaged components. Communicate repair or replacement needs, update mold history documents, monitor component and stock inventory, assist with quotes and ordering, maintain housekeeping and safe tool storage, deliver tooling within production facilities, and operate cranes for moves and in-press conversions.
