What you'll do
- Perform donor registration, vital signs, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and related recordkeeping
- perform specialized blood collection services as assigned
- follow standard operating procedures and regulatory quality standards
- assist with daily paperwork
- communicate equipment concerns, venipuncture issues, and donor concerns
- assess donor needs and assist with donor reactions
- educate donors about blood donation and maintaining an adequate blood supply
- maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
