Quality Technician

The Quality Technician role is onsite in Springfield, MO, with compensation of $20.49–$24 per hour. The position supports manufacturing quality at Ingersoll Rand. It contributes to consistent outcomes through inspection, documentation, defect tracking, and collaboration with operators, buyers, and engineers.

What you'll do

• Verify first-article and in-process components using CMM measurement and standard work instructions
• partner with operators, buyers, and engineers to resolve dimensional challenges
• use 5S to improve cleanliness and consistency
• maintain standard work and inspection files
• perform inspections and maintain data records
• complete defective material tags accurately and promptly
• maintain database and tracking systems
• conduct return material authorization dispositions
• provide quality training as assigned.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of experience inspecting machined parts, 2 years of blueprint-reading experience, and experience with precision inspection tools and calibration requirements. CMM experience and proficiency with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office are preferred.
