ICM Peer Support Specialist

The ICM Peer Support Specialist is an onsite, full-time role in Oceanside, CA, paying $26.50–$27.50 per hour. TURN’s mission is improving lives through client-centered care. The specialist draws on personal recovery experience to support clients with mental health and substance use disorders through peer counseling, case management, advocacy, outreach, crisis intervention, and individual and group services. The role also supports client needs, recovery, and symptom management through timely documentation and placement assistance.

What you'll do

• Provide peer counseling and support using personal consumer experience
• mentor clients and families
• provide case consultation, crisis intervention, discharge placement, individual and group work, rehabilitation interventions, screening, and targeted case management
• document services accurately and on time
• provide field-based services as required
• maintain confidentiality
• participate in program meetings
• maintain a flexible schedule that may include occasional weekends and holidays.
