Maintenance Technician — Apartment Property

The Maintenance Technician — Apartment Property role is onsite in Columbus, OH; compensation is not specified. The technician supports maintenance operations at Alkire Gate, reporting to the Service Manager and helping prepare vacant units for move-in. The role exists to keep units, grounds, equipment, and property systems in working order and to complete resident and property work orders promptly. By handling repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance while coordinating with the Service Manager and other staff, the technician supports property readiness and day-to-day operations.

What you'll do

• Perform make-ready repairs in vacant units
• respond to scheduled 24-hour on-call paging
• assist the Service Manager, housekeeper, grounds personnel, and other staff as needed
• help manage maintenance inventory and supplies
• inspect the property and identify repairs
• complete work orders with same-day completion in mind
• maintain grounds, equipment, and the maintenance shop
• paint interiors and exteriors when required
• be available in the event of snow
• follow maintenance policies and safety requirements.
