What you'll do

• Receive, assess, prioritize, and document transport requests
• assign crews and units based on location, capacity, urgency, patient needs, and authorized capabilities
• monitor unit status and trip progress using dispatch, GPS, telephone, and radio systems
• communicate updates
• escalate clinical or operational issues
• maintain dispatch logs and records
• protect patient information
• coordinate shift handoffs
• report equipment or communication failures.
