What you'll do

• Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC turning machines and CNC lathes
• install tooling and fixtures and enter offsets
• troubleshoot Swiss machining components
• optimize feeds, speeds, tool selection, tool life, and cycle times
• load programs and material
• produce first pieces
• inspect dimensions and record results
• read blueprints and GD&T
• diagnose process problems and implement corrective actions
• perform daily preventive machine maintenance.
