What you'll do

• Represent the Commonwealth in District and Juvenile Courts and, as assigned, Superior and appellate courts. Present assigned cases to the Grand Jury
• evaluate charges and evidentiary issues
• prepare cases for trial and ensure witnesses are notified. Research legal issues, prepare motions and memoranda, handle assigned post-conviction motions, follow office policies, and notify supervisors and the appeals division of specified case developments. Travel to courthouses in Essex County as needed.
