What you'll do

• Supervise children during play and meals
• monitor school-bus arrivals and departures
• support emotional and social development
• care for children in a day care setting
• sanitize toys and play equipment weekly
• observe and record children’s activities, meals, and medications
• teach health and personal habits
• read to children and help with homework
• accompany children to and from school and on field trips
• maintain a safe play environment
• communicate with parents or guardians
• assist with food service, lesson plans, attendance, rest periods, and recreational activities.
