The Family Counselor, CCSS Kauai (Full-Time) role is onsite in Lihue, HI. Compensation is $33.21 per hour. Child & Family Service works to strengthen families and foster the healthy development of children. The counselor collaborates with organizational and community programs to implement therapeutic services, linking assessment, intervention design, delivery, and evaluation to support successful case outcomes. Services and schedules are adjusted to meet family needs, including evening and weekend availability and on-call crisis response.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with CFS and community programs on service implementation
• connect assessment, intervention design, implementation, and evaluation
• assess family dynamics and identify appropriate approaches
• support families in improving parenting skills and preserving family connections and reunification
• travel around the island as needed in a personal vehicle
• respond to on-call crises as required.
