The Life Skills Instructor role is onsite in Cabot, AR. Compensation is $12.66–$13.16 per hour. The position is at a 24-hour facility, and a set schedule is not guaranteed; listed options include Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, or 2:00 PM–10:00 PM on varying days. Pathfinder provides instruction and support to clients working toward independent living. The instructor implements individual program plans, teaches daily living and communication skills, and monitors client progress. Household routines, documentation, and community transportation support clients’ active treatment and daily needs.

What you'll do

• Provide instructional training in household and communication skills
• supervise and assist clients with daily chores and meal management
• implement individual program plans and active treatment
• collect data and complete documentation and required forms
• provide activities-of-daily-living instruction
• assist with facility cleaning and maintenance
• may be assigned cooking and meal-preparation duties
• manage client behaviors professionally
• transport clients to and from the community.
