Medication Technician

Job overview

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Ransomville, NY, with pay of $18–$20 per hour. Ransomville Manor is a 142-bed adult care community and assisted living residence serving older adults. The technician assists residents with self-administration of medications and maintains accurate records, secure storage, and required counts. The role supports residents’ daily well-being by communicating medication concerns to nurses or supervisors and coordinating refills with the care team and pharmacy.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with self-administration of medications according to orders, facility policy, training, and applicable requirements
• maintain Medication Administration Records
• document assistance, refusals, and concerns
• report errors, missed doses, condition changes, and suspected side effects
• secure medications and complete inventory and controlled-substance counts
• coordinate refills and communicate with the pharmacy and care team
• assist with resident care within training scope.
