Medication Technician

Job overview

The Medication Technician role is onsite in Gilbert, AZ. Compensation is $19.50–$21.50 per hour. The role supports residents in an assisted living and memory care community managed by Integral Senior Living. The position provides hands-on care and emotional support while helping residents maintain dignity, independence, and safety. Medication-related duties include assisting with and observing medication administration, documenting doses, monitoring residents, and reporting concerns to nursing or health care coordination staff.

What you'll do

• Provide care and support to assigned residents
• check on residents and report changes in condition
• respond promptly to resident call bells and security systems
• assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• support meals, cleanliness, laundry, and life-enrichment activities. Review service plans
• assist with and observe medications and treatments
• document doses and refusals
• report concerns
• restock and maintain medication carts and rooms
• count narcotics with another medication care manager or nurse
• take and record vital signs. Arizona certified caregiver status is required
• schedule varies and includes weekends and holidays.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED and age 18 or older are required. Certified Nurse’s Aide, CPR, and first aid certifications are preferred; previous senior-care experience is preferred.
