The Lead Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Monticello, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and compensation of $16.38–$20.48 per hour. The role supports Kirby Medical Group’s clinics and clinical staff. This position combines patient-facing clinical assistance with daily workflow leadership. It helps patients move through clinic visits while supporting medical assistants through coverage coordination, competency completion, training, and onboarding.

What you'll do

• Welcome and escort patients
• gather and record clinical information
• provide education about clinic processes and wait times
• consult clinical staff about patient concerns and escalate issues to clinic leadership. Supervise daily medical assistant workflow, adjust coverage as needed, ensure annual competencies are completed, and support training and onboarding for new staff.
