The Senior CNC Mill Set Up Technician works 100% onsite in Milford, CT, on first shift, typically Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The listed pay range is $32–$40 per hour. The role supports a precision manufacturing operation producing components for aerospace, defense, medical, and other advanced applications. The technician sets up, operates, programs, and troubleshoots multi-axis CNC milling machines while serving as a hands-on technical resource for other machinists. The role supports accurate production, quality requirements, and improvements to shop-floor workflow and execution.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines
• write, edit, and adjust G-code programs
• work with positional indexers and Fanuc controls
• troubleshoot machining, setup, tooling, and production issues
• interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• use precision instruments to verify dimensions
• coordinate with engineering and quality teams
• help machinists troubleshoot difficult setups
• maintain accuracy and quality standards.
