Residential Support Staff

The Residential Support Staff role is onsite in Scranton, PA, in a 24/7 mental health treatment environment. Pay is $20–$22 per year as stated in the posting. The staff member supervises residents, supports daily living needs, maintains a therapeutic milieu, and documents behavior and safety checks. The role contributes to continuity of care by communicating concerns and shift information to clinical and nursing staff.

What you'll do

• Provide continuous resident supervision and conduct documented safety rounds
• assist with activities of daily living
• use approved de-escalation techniques when needed
• facilitate the daily schedule and assigned non-clinical activities
• document behavior, incidents, and shift logs in the electronic medical record
• provide handoff reports
• report clinical concerns
• assist with admissions and facility upkeep
• transport residents to off-site appointments as needed.
