The assistant supports discharge nurses, communicates with clients, and ensures that all post-hospital care instructions and patient needs are met with compassion and efficiency.
What you'll do
- Assist discharge nurses in appointments and discharge preparations.
- Communicate with clients and team members.
- Prepare patients for discharge, including removal of IV catheters and fitting e-collars.
- Support general patient care including laundry, husbandry, and cage cleaning.
- Assist with diagnostics and stock supplies.
