What you'll do

• Create purchase orders and bid requests
• maintain accurate lead times, costs, order multiples, and minimums
• negotiate costs
• make spot purchases for immediate needs
• manage sourcing, new-item, and new-vendor processes
• coordinate with planning, QA/QC, receiving, and accounts payable
• maintain supplier qualification and documentation
• evaluate vendor quotes and services.
