Apartment Maintenance Team Leader

The Apartment Maintenance Team Leader role is onsite in West Des Moines, IA; compensation is not specified. Timely repairs, apartment turns, winter operations, and organized work-order follow-up support residents and property operations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate maintenance across assigned communities and manage vendors when needed
• assign work orders, set priorities, and support the maintenance team
• inspect and maintain common areas, exteriors, roofs, mechanical rooms, apartments, and vacant units
• prepare vacant apartments for move-in and provide prompt resident service
• oversee snow removal and vendor performance
• maintain pool operator certification
• complete work-order documentation within 24 hours
• participate in shared weekend and after-hours on-call coverage
• travel between properties as needed
• uphold Fair Housing and applicable Tax Credit requirements.
