What you'll do

• Communicate with prospective and current residents
• accompany prospects to model apartments and explain layouts, facilities, nearby services, and lease terms
• follow up with prospects
• complete lease forms and collect rental deposits
• inspect the model apartment and arrange maintenance as needed
• update available-unit listings
• assist with newspaper advertisements
• contact credit bureaus, previous landlords, and employers as part of applicant checks
• substitute for the Assistant Manager when absent
• follow fair housing laws
• complete weekly activity, traffic and leasing, and off-site marketing reports.
