Job overview

The Cook, Dietary Services role is onsite in Fort Collins, Colorado. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. The cook supports the Dietary Services Team at a 60-bed facility and helps provide meals for residents. The role prepares and serves safe, nutritionally appropriate meals according to menus, recipes, and dietary requirements. It contributes to residents’ wellbeing by maintaining food quality, safe handling, and timely meal service.

What you'll do

• Prepare menu items using standardized recipes
• review resident census and production information to determine food quantities
• follow safe food handling requirements
• assist with food ordering, storage, and preparation as assigned
• prepare consistency-modified and diet foods
• prepare special-function meals
• monitor and record food temperatures
• maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• meet meal schedules.
