PRN Caregiver

At Waneka Park Assisted Living, the caregiver works with a multidisciplinary healthcare team under the guidance of the Health & Wellness Director to support residents’ comfort, dignity, and well-being. The caregiver assists residents with daily living and personal hygiene, responds to requests for help, and reports changes in condition to the nursing supervisor. This work contributes to residents’ care plans and the facility’s compassionate-care commitment.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing
• support stand-by assist transfers
• provide personal hygiene care
• respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance
• observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing supervisor
• consistently apply infection-control principles
• adapt to changing needs and responsibilities.

Why this role
