What you'll do

• Directly supervise and support shipping office personnel
• ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures
• resolve issues involving customers, carriers, and drivers
• manage over, short, and damaged claims
• maintain accessorial-charge documentation
• oversee employee performance and administer discipline as needed
• monitor operations against benchmarks
• troubleshoot system issues
• contribute to hiring and staffing recommendations
• attend meetings and training outside regular hours
• participate in incident investigations and reporting
• cover for other supervisors during scheduled time off.
