Door Shop Machine Operator

Job overview

The Door Shop Machine Operator role is onsite in Tacoma, WA, with stated pay of $19–$24 per hour. Frontier Door & Cabinet supplies interior and exterior doors, cabinets, and hardware for commercial construction and multifamily residential projects. The operator sets up and runs door-machining equipment to produce pre-hung door units to specification. The role supports production goals through equipment upkeep, quality checks, inventory records, and coordination with the production team.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate Norfield Magnums, Strike Routers, Eagles, or similar machinery
• machine and assemble pre-hung door units
• maintain machinery and troubleshoot issues
• monitor product quality
• collaborate to meet daily output goals
• assist with inventory and records
• keep the work area organized
• read bills of materials and production paperwork
• use hand tools and interpret hardware schematics.
