The role supports profitability and customer service by managing flatbed and specialized freight activity and resolving shipment and payment issues.

What you'll do

• Develop relationships with specialized service providers
• negotiate freight rates with motor carriers and internal sales teams as needed
• build a book of business for flatbed and specialized shipments
• coordinate carrier fleets with customer shipments
• verify freight charges and bills of lading
• resolve payable discrepancies
• monitor bill-of-lading discrepancies and arrange commodity returns when necessary
• troubleshoot operational issues.

Why this role

Training is onsite Monday through Friday; after training, the schedule is four days in the office and one remote workday weekly, with standard hours of 7 a.m.–4 p.m. or 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
