What you'll do

• Plan and manage volunteer program activities
• develop volunteer training and orientation
• recruit, educate, and select volunteers through at least three recruitment sessions annually
• identify volunteer service needs with patients, families, caregivers, and the hospice team
• supervise and evaluate volunteers
• maintain monthly service statistics and personnel files
• coordinate support and education meetings
• attend interdisciplinary group meetings
• share information about hospice volunteer services
• assist with program budgets and quality-improvement activities
• review and revise volunteer policies and procedures.
