Food Service Worker

Job overview

The Food Service Worker role is onsite in Kerrville, TX, supporting healthcare facilities. Compensation is $15.35–$20.00 per hour. The role supports facility food-service operations through nourishment preparation, meal-cart delivery, and sanitation; it is not a cooking position.

What you'll do

• Prepare, portion, and deliver snacks and nourishments
• transport, load, and unload meal carts
• clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, trays, carts, equipment, and work areas
• complete scheduled cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, sinks, dish machines, shelves, and floors
• follow food safety, infection control, workplace safety, security, badging, and conduct requirements.

Why this role

Must be able to stand and walk for an entire eight-hour shift, lift up to 30 pounds, and work rotating shifts, weekends, and federal holidays. Current ServSafe food handler certification is required or must be obtained within seven days of hire.
