What you'll do

• Buy, source, and expedite materials from approved local and overseas vendors
• ensure on-time delivery and quality requirements
• negotiate pricing and commercial terms
• execute cost-reduction initiatives
• monitor supplier scorecards
• support inventory, materials availability, and quality objectives
• work with quote analysts on material quotes
• make tactical buying decisions
• resolve invoices for payment approval
• order, reschedule, or cancel materials based on requisitions and MRP output
• maintain procurement records and metrics
• coordinate receipt of materials with logistics.
