Toddler Lead Teacher

What you'll do

• Plan and deliver daily activities using the Kiddie Academy Life Essentials curriculum
• set up age-appropriate interest areas
• establish routines for meals, diapering and toilet learning, naps, and transitions
• observe and document development and complete assessments
• communicate progress with families
• supervise children and follow health and safety policies
• maintain a clean, organized classroom
• complete classroom paperwork
• direct the Assistant Teacher’s work and help evaluate classroom staff
• attend staff, Academy, and parent meetings and help plan Academy-wide events
• meet prospective families
• follow Tennessee licensing regulations
• accept temporary assignments in other classrooms when regularly scheduled staff are unavailable.
